Our Story: Roasting Fresh Coffee, One Cup at a Time

Gigawatt Coffee Roasters began with a spark of passion and a lot of determination. Co-founded by husband-and-wife team Eli and Jen, our journey started in 2019, roasting coffee on a small Behmor at home for family and friends. Fueled by a love for exceptional coffee and a vision to make freshly roasted beans more accessible, we officially launched Gigawatt Coffee Roasters in February 2020—just before the world changed.

2019

Humble Beginnings:

It all started in our home, where we roasted small batches of coffee on a Behmor for family and friends. These early experiments fueled our passion for crafting exceptional coffee.

2020

Launching Gigawatt Coffee

In February 2020, we officially launched Gigawatt Coffee Roasters, bringing fresh, small-batch coffee to market from our home—even as the world faced uncertainty.

2021

Scaling Up:

We moved into our first warehouse space to scale production, laying the foundation for serving more coffee lovers while staying true to our small-batch roots.

2022

Growing Capacity:

Our second roaster joined the team, boosting capacity and ensuring we could meet growing demand without compromising quality.

2023

Expanding the Team

We celebrated another milestone by hiring our first full-time employee, marking an exciting step in our journey of growth.

2024

Bigger and Better:

This year, we expanded into a second warehouse unit, doubling our space and capabilities to keep up with increasing demand and prepare for even bigger things ahead.
